Mary’s work is inspired by the world she inhabits. She is mother to three young children and explores the tension between her busy domestic life and her need for quiet. Through her art she tries to find a place of stillness for herself, a way to understand the world around her and a means to record those fleeting moments that can so easily slip through one’s fingers.
